He met his wife, Gwendolyn, at Asbury University where she studied Media Communications. Together they have three children: Jaxton, Katherine, and Jashwanth.
Caleb is particularly passionate about the ministry of New Church Development and has served on Conference and District New Church Development teams for several years. He is also a great believer in the Conferences of the United Methodist Church. As pastor, he hopes to promote a culture of conversation, collaboration, and consensus in the local church that make Conferencing a powerful experience of God’s grace.
In the United Methodist Church, we commit to faithfulness in our prayers, and we consider this to be one of the most important ministries of every person in the church. The Prayer Team receives and communicates celebrations and requests and remembers them in their prayers. They also assist the pastor in planning monthly prayer gatherings.
The Nurture Team oversees the teams responsible for everything we do when we gather together. These teams include: Congregational Care, Fellowship, Hospitality, Music, and Small Groups/Studies. The Children, Youth, and Young Adult ministries are represented on both the Nurture and Outreach Teams.
The Outreach Team oversees the teams responsible for everything we are serving, partnering, and communicating with our community. These teams include: Communications, Connectional Relationships, Mission Trips, and Local Service Projects. The Children, Youth, and Young Adult ministries are represented on both the Nurture and Outreach Teams.
The Administrative Committee oversees the organizational needs of the church, supporting all we do by managing the resources necessary for successful ministry. Closely related to the Administrative Committee is the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee, which is responsible for managing the relationship between the clergy, church, and Conference.
